George Pehanick’s Take:
If there’s one brand I’ve collected over the years, it’s Pontiacs. I’ve probably owned 30+ 67 GTO’s, majority being convertibles, they are my favorite. This is the most extraordinary one I’ve ever come across. It was factory ordered by a GM ‘Brass Hat’ rumored it was John DeLorean’s personal GTO delivered in So-Cal. I’ve never come across a 67 triple white convertible, ever. This car is very highly and unusually optioned. Factory convertibles with 4 speeds and A/C represent less than 5% of the production. People didn’t order ‘go fast’ Convertibles with 4 speeds and A/C. It also has factory Power steering, brakes, windows, antenna etc. All this is documented and substantiated by the Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) paperwork. The car has been autographed by two big name Ex-Pontiac executives. This car has an extremely rare, dealer installed 400 cubic inch 360hp Ram Air motor.
